Valentine's Banquet A Success!

Sunday evening we had our Valentine's Banquet and from all accounts it was a great success!  The kids I think had a great time together and the food was out of this world.  We each had 16oz steaks and all the trimmings!  Thanks so much to the hard work of all the youth leaders and parents that pitched in and helped!

We have a great trip lined up for Winterfest in March.  We have 40 going this year, which I'm very excited about.  So many have pitched in to make the trip a success, and thanks to Leslie and all of her fund raising ideas we've raised tons of money for these kids to make the trip! 

I'm truly blessed to be working with such great kids, volunteers and parents.

We will be posting important info for the upcoming Winterfest trip.  We have a great chalet booked that sleeps 42 and is out of this world beautiful (at least from the pics!).  There will be much info coming to finalize the details of what everyone needs to bring and all the things that they need to do before we leave on that Thursday afternoon!  Also, we got a great connection with one of the parents with a rental car company and got a deal that was unbelieveable!  Everything seems to be falling in place to have a wonderful trip... that's the favor of God!
