Laguna Beach Retreat Trip Costs...

Our Laguna Beach trip to Panama City Beach, Florida is Friday, July 23rd through Monday, July 26th.  We want to leave from the church around 8:30am Friday morning, and we'll leave headed back to the church on Monday morning around 10am.  This should put us back on Monday around 4 or 5pm.

The cost of the trip is $126.00 per person.  This includes three nights stay on the beach as well as all meals while at Laguna Beach.  This includes dinner on Friday, breakfast, lunch and dinner on both Saturday and Sunday, as well as breakfast on Monday morning.  Each person will be responsible for eating breakfast prior to us leaving on Friday morning headed down to the gulf.  We will eat lunch before we get to the beach, and they will be responsible for lunch headed back on Monday.  We will be eating fast food coming and going so please plan accordingly for this cost.

Also, this year we are planning on one excursion, which has yet to be determined.  The kids have raised some money, so we are going to see how far that gets each kid in paying for this year's excursion.  Last year we went out to eat, but we are going to forgo eating out for doing some type of activity.  Right now we are leaning toward spending Saturday at Shell Island, but we're still exploring our options.

Baron's Baseball Game... "Take Me Out to the Ball Game, REVOLVE!"

Hey, parents!  Saturday, May 22nd we are going to go to see the Baron's play at the Hoover Met.  We will leave the church at 5:15pm so meet just prior to that.  The cost is $3.00/student, however if you would like to make this an entire family event then please contact me because I can tell you about an excellent, inexpensive family package for that game. 

I also need a ticket count no later than Wednesday, May 19th, 2010.  We will also need people to help carpool to transport our teens to the game.  Pamela and I are planning to take our entire family, so this even is open to everyone in your family.
