We have several activities lined up for the month of October. I need to make you aware of some changes to the events and dates on the current calendar.
Here is the amended calendar:
- Saturday, Oct. 24th - Judgment House @ Morgan Road United Methodist Church! We are postponing the guided night tour @ Dismal Canyon and since we can only get reservations for the Judgment House on Saturday night @ 8pm. We will leave the church at 6:30pm and car pool to Exit 1 to eat at Chic-Fil-A or Burger King, etc. Then from there go to the Judgment House to make our 8pm reservations. The cost is $3/per person + money for fast food prior to the judgment house.
- Sunday, Oct. 25th - Trunk or Treat! Each teen needs to bring a bag of candy on Wednesday 10/21 or at the latest Sunday morning 10/25. If you have multiple teens in the youth ministry then one or two bags will be plenty. We are going to host our own trunk for all the kids! Plus, we will be giving the kids that attend and come by our "trunk" glow sticks. These will be provided by the Student Ministries - the candy however will need to be provided by the teens!
- Sunday, November 1st- Touch Football @ Green Pond Park. We will meet at church at the Green Pond and play from 1pm to 3pm. The park is located on the right next to the Green Pond Library.
Please also begin planning for Winterfest 2010! This will be here before we know it! The deposit for this trip is $50 per child and the costs are still being calculated as we wait for information to come in on the details of this years conference. Please begin to pay the deposits now. More info to come @ REVOLVE!
